LDS Objectives

1.	To conduct the programs against the social evils like sexual transmitted diseases/HIV/AIDS, alcoholism, drug/substance abuse, women's trafficking and illiteracy and carry out the information, education and communication and counseling services related with the reproductive health and community development.
2.	To encourage and promote education and literacy by conducting literacy and non formal education classes for the different classes of the people in the society.

3.	To conduct the relief work for the various children who are victims of war, conflict and natural disaster in the society.

4.	To help the people self reliant, from the Dalits (downtrodden), low income group, woman, children, senior citizens and those who are victims of natural calamities in the society.

5.	To conduct public awareness programs in order to maintain the environmental and ecological balances by means of sanitation management.
